Land of Snow !!

WOW !!!!
It was 28th of October when i saw snow in my home place , i became surprise seeing a lots snow around my apartment in the morning . A different kinds of happiness was coming from my heart, although i had seen snow in Nepal but i am not used to familiar with it ,
Along with the time it did not make me happy always !! sometime when i wake up in the morning , i used to think that shall i have to go office today ??

But i enjoy every movement struggling with snow and dark !! it is new experience for me so i loved it !!

Welcome by District

After warm welcome of district office and district youth board we started our work Akershus district . We dividied our work 3 days in Kjeller and 2 days in Sandivika,
It was very nice time meeting with many staff of office .

Danmark visit

In the occasion of Easter vacation i made my trip towards Denmark, it was very nice trip to Danmark by Ship.weather wrew so nice with sunny day. I found Denamrk different than Norway with a lots of flat farming area.
Denmark is really rich in Agriculture.Around 61% Danish agriculture produces foodstuffs sufficient for app. 15 million people, which is three times the population of Denmark. Wind power is very much emphasized in agriculture.

It was wanderful weekend in Bergan !! meeting with all youth delegate and doing useful work together .

Out from Red Cross i have also many good opportunity to do many activities. It was also good time with meeting with many Nepalese representative including Prim minister

Working with school students

Although i am working with Red Cross youth, but this time we got quite new experience working with youth who were out from Red Cross. During those month we got 8 school students who want to work as a volunteer in Red Cross. We were responsible to make plan and activities for them. Those students were working with us for 8 weeks spreading the days. We did many activities with them. In the beginning we make them familiar with Red Cross, Red Cross youth, and different activities and it`s structure. We took help to distribute the Red Cross brochure to the different 5 schools of Akershus. And we managed to keep Active choice stand in Ås University since we are planning to form the new Multimix group in that university. We distributed many condoms, brochure and gave information about the multimix. we went to Strømme VGS and Akershus University and dissemination about Red Cross and human trafficking .I think it is easiest way of collecting Red cross from school.

Annual youth council assembly in Oslo

It was very exciting movement of the Red Cross youth on 6th to 8th of March, which was big gathering of the youth from whole Norway. During program we involved in many different activities.. We delegates were responsible for social evening where we did many performances and share our own national custom and other dress as well. It was very memorial time with different show and performance.We did many practical things like how to make stand more attractive and important things for having stands. It was very memorial time with different shows and much piratical information.This annual general youth council was the one of very important program for national youth where we discuss various strategy and plan for the coming period and spent our effort for national campaign.




It was big arrangement of Norwegian Red Cross youth. Around 50 youth were involved in the program from different parts of Norway. it was fantastic weekend with many different activities .we youth delegate were responsible to make social activities we made different kinds of icebreakers and our own national fashion show in the same time .
We also made strategy for coming period in the same time , we learn many different practical things like how to make stand attractive.
